Yesterday we got a visit from the BGE Tree Removal and (mandatory) Pruning Evaluation team. Due to 'power issues' in our town they have been 'upgrading' the pruning regimen for trees within the electricity easement from no overhanging branches within 25 (vertical) feet to no branches within 25 feet (horizontally) with relation to the lines.
